Olive Oil and great house wine are the two main ingredients that can not be missing on a Croatian table. Fish and seafood, cooked with rice, and great lunchmeat in Dalmatia and Istria or Slovenia, great lamb... There are many delicious dishes you must taste at one of the many resturants in Croatia.
In Croatia you'll see a strong italian influence in it's gastronomy, it is for this reason that you'll find many pizzerias in the country. Konoba is the croatian name for "cheap bars" that the cities have given name to where you can have a great meal for a very low price.
